34. According to the terms of reference of the CRIC, adopted by decision 1/COP.5, the CRIC shall, at sessions held between ordinary sessions of the COP, inter alia, submit a comprehensive report to the COP in the light of its programme of work, including conclusions and recommendations.

2. According to decisions 8/COP.8 and 13/COP.9 each Party and subregional and/or regional entity reporting shall report to the session of the Committee for the Review of the Implementation of the Convention (CRIC) held between ordinary sessions of the Conference of the Parties (COP), through the secretariat, on the measures which it has taken for the implementation of The Strategy and the Convention.
2- ووفقاً للمقرر 8/م أ-8 والمقرر 13/م أ-9، يقدم كل طرف وكيان دون إقليمي و/أو إقليمي إلى دورات لجنة استعراض تنفيذ الاتفاقية، التي تُعقد بين الدورات العادية لمؤتمر الأطراف، عن طريق الأمانة، تقارير عن التدابير المتخذة من أجل تنفيذ الاستراتيجية والاتفاقية.

21. In accordance with decision 11/COP.9, at sessions held between ordinary sessions of the COP, the CRIC is, inter alia, to draw conclusions and make recommendations to the COP on further steps to be taken to facilitate effective implementation of the Convention.
21- وفقاً للمقرر 11/م أ-9، يتعين على اللجنة، في الدورات التي تُعقد بين الدورات العادية لمؤتمر الأطراف، أن تقوم بجملة أمور منها استخلاص الاستنتاجات وتقديم التوصيات لمؤتمر الأطراف بشأن ما يتعين اتخاذه من خطوات إضافية لتيسير التنفيذ الفعال للاتفاقية.

Each Party and subregional and/or regional entity reporting shall communicate to the CRIC sessions held between ordinary sessions of the COP, through the secretariat, reports on the measures which it has taken for the implementation of The Strategy and the Convention.
4- يقدم كل طرف وكيان دون إقليمي و/أو إقليمي إلى دورات لجنة استعراض تنفيذ الاتفاقية، التي تُعقد بين الدورات العادية لمؤتمر الأطراف، عن طريق الأمانة، تقارير عن التدابير المتخذة من أجل تنفيذ الاستراتيجية والاتفاقية.

13. Accredited civil society organizations are also invited to organize themselves to prepare collaborative reports on their work for the implementation of the Convention, especially through the provision of best practices, for transmission to the sessions of the CRIC held between ordinary sessions of the COP and to the focal points of the countries.
13- ومنظمات المجتمع المدني المعتمدة مدعوة أيضاً إلى تنظيم نفسها من أجل إعداد تقارير تعاونية عن عملها لتنفيذ الاتفاقية، لا سيما من خلال تقديم أفضل الممارسات، لإحالتها إلى الدورات التي تُعقد بين الدورات العادية لمؤتمر الأطراف ومراكز التنسيق التابعة للبلدان.

As soon as the date and venue of the CRIC session held between ordinary sessions of the COP have been finalized, detailed timetables for activities relating to the reporting process should be made available to reporting entities by the secretariat, through official communication.
20- وحالما يتم الانتهاء من تحديد زمـان ومكان انعقاد دورة لجنة استعراض تنفيذ الاتفاقية، التي تُعقد بين الدورات العادية لمؤتمر الأطراف، ينبغي أن تتيح الأمانة لكيانات الإبلاغ جداول زمنية مفصلة فيما يخص الأنشطة المتصلة بعملية الإبلاغ، وذلك من خـلال خطابات رسمية.

42.
