21. Type II gratis personnel (gratis personnel) are provided to the Organization by a Government or other entity responsible for the remuneration of the services of such personnel and do not serve under any other established regime.

40. General Assembly resolution 63/253 recognized management evaluation as a key component of the new system of administration of justice, and it granted interns, type II gratis personnel and volunteers other than United Nations Volunteers the possibility of requesting such an evaluation.

4. Delegations recalled the decision of the General Assembly, in its resolution 63/253 (para. 7), that interns, type II gratis personnel and volunteers (other than United Nations Volunteers) should have the possibility of requesting an appropriate management evaluation.
4 - وأشارت الوفود إلى المقرر الذي خلصت إليه الجمعية العامة في قرارها 63/253 (الفقرة 7)، بأن للمتدربين الداخليين والصنف الثاني من الموظفين المقدمين دون مقابل والمتطوعين (من غير متطوعي الأمم المتحدة) أن يطلبوا إجراء تقييم إداري ملائم.

7. Decides that interns, type II gratis personnel and volunteers (other than United Nations Volunteers) shall have the possibility of asking for an appropriate management evaluation but shall not have access to the United Nations Dispute Tribunal or to the United Nations Appeals Tribunal;
7 - تقرر أن في وسع المتدربين الداخليين والصنف الثاني من الموظفين المقدمين دون مقابل والمتطوعين (من غير متطوعي الأمم المتحدة) أن يطلبوا إجراء تقييم إداري ملائم، بيد أنه لا يحق لهم اللجوء إلى محكمة الأمم المتحدة للمنازعات أو محكمة الأمم المتحدة للاستئناف؛

7. Decides that interns, type II gratis personnel and volunteers (other than United Nations Volunteers) shall have the possibility of requesting an appropriate management evaluation but shall not have access to the United Nations Dispute Tribunal or to the United Nations Appeals Tribunal;
7 - تقرر أن في وسع المتدربين الداخليين والصنف الثاني من الموظفين المقدمين دون مقابل والمتطوعين (من غير متطوعي الأمم المتحدة) أن يطلبوا إجراء تقييم إداري ملائم بيد أنه لا يحق لهم اللجوء إلى محكمة الأمم المتحدة للمنازعات أو محكمة الأمم المتحدة للاستئناف؛

It was recalled that, in paragraph 7 of its resolution 63/253, the General Assembly had decided that interns, type II gratis personnel and volunteers (other than United Nations Volunteers) should have the possibility of requesting an appropriate management evaluation but would not have access to the United Nations Dispute Tribunal or to the United Nations Appeals Tribunal.

It was a welcome development that, under General Assembly resolution 63/253, interns, type II gratis personnel and volunteers other than United Nations Volunteers could request a management evaluation and that all persons who had had access to the Office of the Ombudsman under the old system would also have access to the new informal system.
