111. As already emphasized in previous reports of the Special Committee, Israeli practices tended to destroy the Arab cultural identity of Syrian citizens in the occupied Golan and distort history and geography.
111 - وكما سبق التشديد في التقارير السابقة للجنة الخاصة فإن الممارسات الإسرائيلية تنحو إلى طمس الهوية الثقافية العربية للمواطنين السوريين في الجولان المحتل وتشويه التاريخ والجغرافيا.

Israeli practices are furthermore designed to erase the Arab cultural identity of the people of the Golan, to impose Israeli teaching curricula and to distort the facts about the geography and history of the occupied Golan by wiping out the Arab names of villages, localities and streets and replacing them with Hebrew names.
كما تهدف الممارسات الإسرائيلية إلى طمس هوية أهل الجولان الثقافية العربية وفرض مقررات تعليمية إسرائيلية وتشويه كل الحقائق المتعلقة بتاريخ وجغرافية الجولان السوري المحتل عن طريق إلغاء الأسماء العربية للقرى والأماكن والشوارع، وإحلال أسماء عبرية محلها.

102. The Ministry of Culture ensures that the cultural festivals organized by Arab cultural centres include lectures and symposia on parental duties. Moreover, the Al-Ma'rifa magazine, which is published by the Ministry of Culture, focuses on pedagogic topics in this field.
٢٠١- وتقوم وزارة الثقافة بتضمين المواسم الثقافية التي تنظمها المراكز الثقافية العربية محاضرات وندوات تعالج واجبات الوالدين، وتركز مجلة المعرفة التي تصدرها وزارة الثقافة على موضوعات تربوية في هذا المجال.

250. In order to implement the policies aimed at encouraging popular participation in the cultural field, more than 300 Arab cultural centres have been established and are operating under the Ministry's supervision in all parts of the Syrian Arab Republic.
250- ومن أجل تنفيذ السياسات الهادفة إلى تشجيع المشاركة الشعبية في ميدان الثقافة، أنشئت المراكز الثقافية العربية التي تشرف عليها الوزارة والتي يزيد عددها عن 300 مركز ثقافي تتوزع في كافة أنحاء الجمهورية العربية السورية.

165. In the framework of its concern to support cultural activities and cultural cooperation and exchange between different States, Egypt has concluded many cultural cooperation agreements with various States and has acceded to the Arab cultural Convention, which was adopted under the auspices of the League of Arab States.

دعوة الحكومات العربية ومؤسسات المجتمع المدني والمنظمات الأهلية العربية المعنية بتطوير المفاهيم الثقافية والتربوية المؤدية إلى التفاهم والحوار بين الحضارات بالتنسيق والتعاون مع نظيراتها على الساحة الدولية، ودعوة مراكز الصناعات الثقافية العربية إلى توجيه إنتاجها بهدف تعزيز الانتماء إلى الهوية العربية والحضارة العربية الإسلامية، وتشجيع الحوار مع الحضارات الأخرى.

26. In view of the lack of international attention, the human rights situation in the occupied Syrian Golan was continuing to deteriorate; settlements were being expanded, Israel was seizing water resources and continuing its policy of arrest and detention and was obliterating the Arab cultural identity of the Syrian inhabitants of the Golan.
26 - وفي ظل غياب الاهتمام الدولي، تستمر حالة حقوق الإنسان في الجولان السوري المحتل في التدهور، بتوسيع المستوطنات، وإحكام القبضة الإسرائيلية على موارد المياه، والاستمرار في سياسة الاعتقال والاحتجاز، وطمس الهوية الثقافية العربية للمواطنين السوريين في الجولان.

106. As for violations of cultural rights by the Israeli occupation authorities, Israeli archaeologists have been engaged to consolidate the occupation and launch an assault on Syrian Arab cultural property in the occupied Syrian Arab Golan by misrepresenting the established facts about the area.
106- وحول انتهاكات السلطة الإسرائيلية القائمة بالاحتلال للحقوق الثقافية، فقد انبرى الآثاريون الإسرائيليون لتكريس الاحتلال ومواصلة الاعتداء على الممتلكات الثقافية العربية السورية في الجولان السوري المحتل بغية تزييف الحقائق الدامغة.
