As a landlocked developing country, Uganda welcomes the establishment, in General Assembly resolution 55/7 of 30 October 2000, of a trust fund whose purpose is to facilitate the preparation of submissions to the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf by developing countries and small island developing States.
