The Centre will also convene a working group, hosted by the Government of the Netherlands, on the feasibility of establishing an international fund for victims of crime and abuse of power, consisting of Member States that express an interest in such a fund.

A number of participants stressed the need to establish an international fund for victims of crime and abuse of power in response to Economic and Social Council resolution 1998/21 of 28 July 1998.
وشدد عدد من المتحدثين على الحاجة الى انشاء صندوق دولي لضحايا الجريمة والتعسف في استعمال السلطة استجابة لقرار المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي ٨٩٩١/١٢ المؤرخ ٨٢ تموز/يوليه ٨٩٩١ .

In the 1980s, the scope of those efforts was extended to include the rights of victims of crime and abuse of power in the Declaration of Basic Principles of Justice for Victims of crime and abuse of Power (resolution 40/34, annex).
وفي الثمانينات، توسع نطاق هذه الجهود ليشمل حقوق ضحايا الجريمة والتعسف في استعمال السلطة (اعلان المبادئ الأساسية للعدالة من أجل ضحايا الجريمة والتعسف في استعمال السلطة) (القرار 40/34، المرفق).
