Decides to amend Part I of Annex A to the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants to list hexachlorobutadiene therein without specific exemptions by inserting the following row:

One option would be to list the exemptions alongside the listed products, in a manner similar to that used in Part I of Annex A to the Stockholm Convention.

According to note (iv) of Part I of Annex A to the Convention, all the specific exemptions in the Annex may be exercised by parties that have registered exemptions in respect of them, in accordance with Article 4, with the exception of:

At its fifth meeting, in April 2011, the Conference of the Parties to the Stockholm Convention decided to amend Part I of Annex A to the Convention to list therein technical endosulfan and its related isomers, with specific exemptions.
20 - وقرر مؤتمر الأطراف في اتفاقية استكهولم أثناء اجتماعه الخامس في نيسان/أبريل 2011 تعديل الجزء الأول من المرفق ألف في الاتفاقية لإدراج الإندوسلفان التقني وإيزومراته وإرفاقها بإعفاءات محددة.

1. Each Party shall not allow, by taking appropriate measures, the manufacture, import or export of mercury-added products listed in Part I of Annex A after the phaseout date specified for those products, except where an exclusion is specified in Annex A or the Party has a registered exemption pursuant to Article 6.
1 - لا يسمح أي طرف، من خلال اتخاذه تدابير مناسبة، بتصنيع أو استيراد أو تصدير المنتجات المضاف إليها الزئبق المـُدرجة في الجزء الأول من المرفق ألف بعد انقضاء موعد الإنهاء التدريجي المحدَّد لتلك المنتجات، إلاّ إذا حُدِّد إعفاء في المرفق ألف أو كان لدى الطرف إعفاء مسجّل عملاً بالمادة 6.

(b) Implement measures or strategies to reduce the use of mercury in any products listed in Part I of Annex A for which a de minimis value has not yet been obtained;

By its decision SC-5/3, the Conference of the Parties to the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants decided to amend Part I of Annex A to the Convention to list therein technical endosulfan and its related isomers, with specific exemptions that include use on multiple crop-pest complexes.
1 - قرر مؤتمر الأطراف في اتفاقية استكهولم للملوثات العضوية الثابتة، بموجب مقرره ا س - 5/3، أن يعدل الجزء الأول من المرفق ألف للاتفاقية ليدرج فيه الإندوسلفان التقني وآيزوميراته مع منحها إعفاءات محددة تشمل استخدامها مع مركبات محاصيل- آفات متعددة.
