The President (spoke in Arabic): Members are aware that, pursuant to paragraph 7 of section I of resolution 40/243 of 18 December 1985, no subsidiary organ of the General Assembly may meet at United Nations Headquarters during a regular session of the Assembly unless explicitly authorized by the Assembly.
الرئيس: يعلم الأعضاء أنه عملا بالفقرة 7 من الجزء الأول من قرار الجمعية العامة 40/243 المؤرخ 18 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1985، لا يجوز لأي جهاز فرعي للجمعية العامة أن يجتمع في مقر الأمم المتحدة أثناء انعقاد الجزء الرئيسي من الدورة العادية للجمعية العامة ما تأذن له الجمعية صراحة بذلك.

C. Consideration by the United Nations 51. On 10 December 2001, the General Assembly adopted without a vote resolutions 56/72 A and B, a consolidated resolution on 11 Non-Self-Governing Territories, section I of Assembly resolution 56/72 B being devoted specifically to American Samoa.
51 - في 10 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2001، اعتمدت الجمعية العامة دون تصويت القرارين 56/72 ألف وباء، باعتبارهما قرارا واحدا بشأن 11 إقليما من الأقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي، حيث خصص الجزء الأول من قرار الجمعية العامة 56/72 باء على وجه التحديد لساموا الأمريكية.

Secondly, as delegations are aware, paragraph 2 of part I of General Assembly resolution 47/120 B, on'An Agenda for Peace', to which all Member States subscribed, foresees the enhancement of those functions covered by Article 14 of the Charter.

C. Consideration by the United Nations 60. On 11 December 2002, the General Assembly adopted without a vote resolutions 57/138 A and B, a consolidated resolution on 11 Non-Self-Governing Territories, section I of Assembly resolution 57/138 B being devoted specifically to American Samoa.
60 - في 11 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2002، اعتمدت الجمعية العامة، دون تصويت، القرارين 57/138 ألف و باء، بوصفهما قرارا واحدا، بشأن 11 إقليما من الأقاليم غير المتمتعة بالحكم الذاتي، حيث خصص الجزء الأول من قرار الجمعية العامة 57/138 باء، على وجه التحديد، لسامو الأمريكية.
