(b) Authorize the Secretary-General to enter into commitments in an amount not to exceed $12.1 million for the period from 1 January to 31 December 2015 as a bridging financing mechanism, and request the Secretary-General to report to the General Assembly on the use of the commitment authority during the main part of its seventieth session in the second performance report on the programme budget for the biennium 2014-2015.

Recalls paragraph 31 of the report of the Advisory Committee, and in this regard requests the Secretary-General to submit to the General Assembly, at the main part of its seventieth session, revised overall cost estimates of the strategic heritage plan taking into account, inter alia, a review of the contingency level, the overall level of consultancy fees and the in-depth technical assessment to be undertaken;

The General Assembly also requested the Commission to inform it of the progress, preliminary findings and administrative aspects of the comprehensive review during the main part of its sixty-eighth and sixty-ninth sessions and to report on the final conclusions and recommendations as soon as possible but no later than during the main part of its seventieth session.
