34. In the absence of the Rapporteur, the AWG-KP agreed to the Chair authorizing the Rapporteur to complete the report on the third and fourth parts of the session under his guidance with the assistance of the secretariat and to make it available to Parties.

The view was expressed that adequate permanent staffing and resources must be provided for the Office of Conference Services. The management of workload, coordination and training were important, and the approaches outlined in sections III and IV of the paper should be developed further.
