وتطلب اللجنة إلى الدولة الطرف توضيح ما إذا كانت أفعال التعذيب وإساءة المعاملة تخضع تلقائياً للتحقيق والملاحقة، كما تطلب إليها تقديم معلومات وإحصاءات عن عدد الشكاوى المرفوعة على موظفين عموميين فيما يتصل بالتعذيب وإساءة المعاملة، ومعلومات عن نتائج الإجراءات على المستويين الجزائي والتأديبي.
