In 2012, the Committee of Experts on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations (ILO Committee of Experts) urged Botswana to strengthen its efforts to provide the necessary and appropriate direct assistance for the removal of child victims of commercial sexual exploitation and to ensure their rehabilitation and social integration, including through poverty reduction measures.
