39. In situations in which the Committee considers that it is unable to obtain the information it requires on the basis of the above-mentioned procedures, it may decide to adopt a different approach.
39- وفي الحالات التي ترى فيها اللجنة أنها لا تستطيع الحصول على المعلومات التي تطلبها باتباع الإجراءات المشار إليها أعلاه، يجوز لها أن تقرر اتباع نهج مختلف.

2. where the Committee decides, as a part of its inquiry, that there should be a visit to the State party concerned, it shall, through the Secretary-General, request the consent of the State party to such a visit.
