The purpose of this meeting is to formulate proposals to the Commission for an additional chapter or appendix to the draft Guide that would deal with security rights in intellectual property rights.

At its thirteenth session (New York, 19-23 May 2008), the Working Group considered a note by the Secretariat entitled " security rights in intellectual property rights " (A/CN.9/WG.VI/WP.33 and Add.1).
