وإذ يسلم أيضا بضرورة ضمان أن الممارسات التجارية التقييدية لا تعرقل أو تبطل تحقيق القواعد التي ينبغي أن تنشأ عن تحرير الحواجز التعريفية وغير التعريفية التي تؤثر في التجارة الدولية، ولا سيما ما يؤثر منها في تجارة البلدان النامية وتنميتها،

(a) To ensure that restrictive business practices do not impede or negate the realization of the benefits that should arise from the liberalization of tariff and non-tariff barriers affecting world trade, particularly those affecting the trade and development of developing countries;
(أ) ضمان كون الممارسات التجارية التقييدية لا تعرقل أو تبطل تحقيق الفوائد التي يفترض أن تنشأ عن تحرير الحواجز التعريفية وغير التعريفية التي تؤثر في التجارة العالمية، ولا سيما ما يؤثر منها في تجارة البلدان النامية وتنميتها؛

23. Objective No.1, namely: " To ensure that RBPs do not impede or negate the realization of the benefits that should arise from the liberalization of tariff and non-tariff barriers affecting world trade, particularly those affecting the trade and development of developing countries " takes a new dimension after the conclusion of the Uruguay Round.
٣٢- يتخذ الهدف رقم ١، وهو: " ضمان عدم قيام الممارسات التجارية التقييدية بعرقلة أو إبطال تحقيق الفوائد التي يفترض أن تنشأ عن تحرير الحواجز التعريفية وغير التعريفية التي تؤثر في التجارة العالمية، لا سيما ما يؤثر منها في تجارة البلدان النامية وتنميتها " . حجماً جديداً اﻵن بعد استكمال جولة أوروغواي.

RBPs should not impede or negate the realization of benefits arising from the liberalization of tariff and non-tariff barriers affecting world trade, particularly those affecting the trade and development of developing countries.
70- ولا ينبغي أن تعرقل الممارسات التجارية التقييدية أو أن تلغي تحقيق المنافع الناشئة عن تحرير الحواجز التعريفية وغير التعريفية التي تؤثر في التجارة العالمية لا سيما تلك التي تؤثر في تجارة وتنمية البلدان النامية.

Ensuring that " restrictive business practices do not impede or negate the benefits that should arise from the liberalization of tariff and non-tariff barriers affecting world trade, particularly those affecting the trade and development of developing countries " was the basic objective of the Set in 1980.
