19. Pursuant to paragraph 28 and other relevant provisions in the Programme of Action, UNCTAD has launched an awareness campaign about graduation from LDC status.

The mix of legal advice and training, backed by awareness-raising and institutional capacity-building, builds the confidence and commitment of beneficiaries to achieve compliance with international ICT standards as part of their efforts towards graduation from LDC status.

All these issues - the recent positive trends and the opportunities they have generated, and the potential risk of slow growth and slow recovery from the recent triple crisis - have to be taken into account in formulating plans for the implementation of the Istanbul Programme of Action, in particular the goal of reaching the graduation criteria by 2020.
وكل هذه المسائل - أي الاتجاهات الإيجابية الأخيرة والفرص الناشئة عنها، واحتمال تباطؤ النمو والتعافي من الأزمة الثلاثية الأخيرة - ينبغي أن توضع في الحسبان لدى صياغة خطط تنفيذ برنامج عمل اسطنبول، لا سيما هدف استيفاء معايير الخروج من فئة أقل البلدان نمواً بحلول عام 2020.
