1 Third Basic Plan for Gender Equality
1- الخطة الأساسية الثالثة للمساواة بين الجنسين

Based on the Third Basic Plan for Gender Equality, the Government of Japan is strengthening the framework for the promotion of positive action and awareness-raising and educational campaigns.
وتستند حكومة اليابان إلى الخطة الأساسية الثالثة للمساواة بين الجنسين في تدعيم إطار تشجيع الإجراءات الإيجابية وحملات التوعية والتثقيف.

It further recommends that the Convention be used as the legal framework for the design of the Third Basic Plan for Gender Equality and that monitoring mechanisms be put in place to regularly assess progress towards achievement of established goals.
وتوصي كذلك باستخدام الاتفاقية كإطار قانوني لإعداد الخطة الأساسية الثالثة للمساواة بين الجنسين، وبإقامة آليات رصد لإجراء تقييم منتظم لمدى التقدم المحرز في تحقيق الأهداف المقررة.

The Government was developing a Third Basic Plan which would be based not only on the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, but also on the Convention, which was an important instrument in compiling the Third Basic Plan.
