Recommendations to the secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity arising from the ninth and tenth sessions of the Permanent Forum were considered at the seventh meeting of the Working Group on Article 8 (j) and Related Provisions in October 2011, and draft recommendations were then forwarded to and considered at the eleventh meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention, held in Hyderabad, India in October 2012.
