IX. Conclusions and recommendations 86. The outcomes achieved at the twelfth and thirteenth sessions of the Commission on Sustainable Development provide a useful framework for action to raise public awareness and to meet the internationally agreed development goals on water and sanitation during the " Water for Life " Decade.
