20. The Committee is concerned that in spite of the measures taken by the State party to disseminate the Convention, most children remain unaware of their rights.

While recognizing the efforts of the State party to disseminate the Convention and to train professionals working for and with children on the provisions and principles of the Convention, as well as the translation of the Convention into the Maldivian language (Dhivehi), the Committee is of the view that these measures are still insufficient.
195- ومع اعتراف اللجنة بجهود الدولة الطرف لنشر الاتفاقية ولتدريب المهنيين العاملين لصالح الأطفال ومعهم بشأن تنفيذ أحكام ومبادئ الاتفاقية، وكذلك ترجمة الاتفاقية إلى اللغة الملديفية، فإنها ترى أن هذه التدابير لا تزال غير كافية.

285. While recognizing the efforts of the State party to disseminate the Convention and to train professionals working for and with children on the provisions and principles of the Convention, as well as to translate the Convention into the Quechua and Shuar languages, the Committee is of the view that these measures need to be reinforced.
285- وبينما تعترف اللجنة بالجهود التي تبذلها الدولة الطرف لنشر الاتفاقية وتدريب الفنيين العاملين من أجل الأطفال ومعهم بشأن أحكام ومبادئ الاتفاقية، وكذلك لترجمة الاتفاقية إلى لغتي الكويتشوا والشوار، فإنها ترى أن هناك حاجة إلى تعزيز هذه التدابير.

314. The Committee welcomes the efforts undertaken by the State party to disseminate the Convention and to train professionals working with and for children, in line with its previous recommendation (ibid., para. 21).
314- ترحب اللجنة بالجهود التي اضطلعت بها الدولة الطرف لنشر الاتفاقية وتدريب الأخصائيين الفنيين الذين يعملون مع الأطفال ولأجلهم وفقاً لتوصيتها السابقة (المرجع نفسه، الفقرة 21).

215. The Committee notes the efforts undertaken by the State party to disseminate the Convention and to train professionals working with and for children, in line with its previous recommendation (CRC/C/15/Add.16, para. 22).

478. The Committee welcomes the efforts made by the State party to disseminate the Convention (e.g. through " My rights " booklets and handbooks on the Convention for teachers).
478- ترحب اللجنة بالجهود التي تبذلها الدولة الطرف لنشر الاتفاقية (مثلاً عن طريق كتيبات " حقوقي " (My rights)، دليل المعلم بشأن الاتفاقية).

19. The Committee notes as positive awareness-raising activities undertaken by the State party to disseminate the Convention through engaging with youth organizations and children in schools, including with regard to the publication of the Citizen's Charter for Children in 2007, the annual Children's Week in November and the mandate of the recently established Commissioner for the Protection of Children's Rights.
19- تلاحظ اللجنة كخطوة إيجابية أنشطة التوعية التي تضطلع بها الدولة الطرف لنشر الاتفاقية من خلال المشاركة إلى جانب المنظمات الشبابية والأطفال في المدارس، في أنشطة منها نشر ميثاق المواطن المتعلق بالأطفال في عام 2007 والاحتفال بالأسبوع السنوي للطفل في تشرين الثاني وولاية المفوض المعين حديثاً المعني بحماية حقوق الطفل.

300. The Committee, noting that at least 87 languages and dialects are spoken in the country, welcomes the initiatives taken by the State party to disseminate the Convention and recommends further cooperation with UNICEF and OHCHR in disseminating international human rights treaties and in providing training programmes to raise awareness of the Convention.
300- إن اللجنة، إذ تلاحظ أن 87 لغة ولهجة على الأقل يجري التحدث بها في البلد، ترحب بالمبادرات التي اتخذتها الدولة الطرف لنشر الاتفاقية وتوصي بزيادة التعاون مع منظمة الأمم المتحدة للطفولة (اليونيسيف) ومفوضية الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان في نشر المعاهدات الدولية المتعلقة بحقوق الإنسان وتوفير برامج تدريبية لرفع مستوى الوعي بالاتفاقية.
