At the initiative of Mexico, the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space had included on the agenda of its Legal Subcommittee the question of the review of the status of the five international legal instruments governing outer space.
وبمبادرة من المكسيك، أدرجت لجنة استخدام الفضاء الخارجي في الأغراض السلمية في جدول أعمال لجنتها الفرعية القانونية مسألة استعراض حالة الصكوك القانونية الدولية الخمسة التي تنظم الفضاء الخارجي.

Various States approached the discussion of the item by proposing practical solutions to improving specific aspects of adherence to the five international instruments, in particular the Liability Convention, the Registration Convention and the Moon Agreement.

In the view of that delegation, such a discussion, bearing in mind that the five international legal instruments governing outer space were closely linked, would be useful for the possible future improvement of the outer space law regime.
ورأى ذلك الوفد أن اجراء مناقشة كهذه ، نظرا للترابط الشديد بين الصكوك القانونية الدولية الخمسة الناظمة لاستخدام الفضاء الخارجي سيكون مفيدا من حيث امكانية تحسين نظام قانون الفضاء الخارجي مستقبلا .

13. The Working Group agreed on the following recommendations on measures to be adopted in order to achieve the fullest adherence to the five international instruments governing outer space:
٣١ - واتفق الفريق العامل على التوصيات التالية بشأن التدابير التي يتعين اتخاذها من أجل تحقيق الامتثال اﻷكمل ﻷحكام الصكوك الدولية الخمسة الناظمة لاستخدام الفضاء الخارجي :

The Legal Subcommittee had continued its consideration of matters relating to the definition and delimitation of outer space and to the character and utilization of the geostationary orbit, and had established a working group to review the status of the five international legal instruments governing outer space, which had recommended measures to achieve full adherence to those instruments.
وأضاف أن اللجنة الفرعية القانونية واصلت النظر في المسائل المتعلقة بتعريف الفضاء الخارجي وتحديده، وفي طبيعة المدار الثابت بالنسبة لﻷرض واستخدامه، وأنها شكلت فريقا عاملا لاستعراض وضع الصكوك القانونية الدولية الخمسة التي تنظم الفضاء الخارجي، وأوصت ببعض التدابير لتحقيق الالتزام التام بهذه الصكوك.

However, issues relating to the improvement and maximization of accession and adherence to the five international legal instruments as well as the effectiveness of the treaties were raised.
غير أنه جرت اثارة مسائل تتعلق بتحسين الانضمام الى الصكوك الدولية الخمسة والتقيد بها الى أقصى حد ممكن وكذلك تحسين فعالية هذه المعاهدات .

137. The Committee was of the view that the review by the Legal Subcommittee of the status of the five international legal instruments governing outer space was a significant development in the revitalization of its work.
