٥ - تقرر أيضا أن الدول اﻷعضاء التي تصبح مساهمة باﻷفراد لعمليات اﻷمم المتحدة لحفظ السلام في السنوات القادمة أو التي تشارك في المستقبل في أعمال اللجنة الخاصة لمدة ثلاث سنوات متوالية بصفة مراقب، تصبح أعضاء في اللجنة في الدورة التالية، بناء على طلب خطي يقدم إلى رئيسها؛
