The Special Representative strongly encourages Member States to promote the guidance note and to institute changes in national policies and legislation, and to include the guidelines in military doctrine, manuals and training.
وتشجع الممثلة الخاصة بشدة الدول الأعضاء على الترويج للمذكرة التوجيهية وإدخال تغييرات على سياساتها وتشريعاتها الوطنية، وإدراج المبادئ التوجيهية في العقيدة والأدلة والتداريب العسكرية.

2. Urges Member States to promote the establishment of interdisciplinary approaches, as well as multidisciplinary teams, to pursue, in the context of demand reduction, the objectives set out in paragraph 1 above;

The Commission for Social Development may also wish to encourage Member States to promote the development of regional and subregional networks of experts and practitioners from Government, non-governmental organizations, academia and the private sector in order to increase the potential for policy action on ageing.

Encourages Member States to promote the further engagement of the private sector through the expansion of corporate volunteering and employee volunteer activities, creating an environment that enables employees to carry out both volunteering and work, as well as to promote the coordination between the private and public sectors;

(j) Encourage Member States to promote the use of the International Guiding Principles on Alternative Development and to support the expansion of alternative development programmes, including through the facilitation of market access for products stemming from alternative development to contribute to the generation of legitimate long-term income for small farming communities;

Encourages Member States to promote the reliable collection of data and research, at the national and, as appropriate, the regional and international levels, on the smuggling of migrants, including on smuggling networks and the involvement of organized crime in countries of origin, transit and destination, and on the possible links that may exist between the smuggling of migrants and other criminal activities;
