2. In paragraph 4 of the resolution, the Forum invited Member States and members of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests to initiate and support additional pilot projects and to continue to support the existing pilot projects on the implementation of the forest instrument in Ghana, Liberia, Nicaragua and the Philippines.

4. 31. Invites Member States and members of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests and other relevant stakeholders to support the implementation of all functions of the facilitative process, and to this end invites donor countries to provide voluntary contributions to ensure that all functions of the facilitative process are performed;

(j) Invite Member States and members of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests to provide support to research programmes targeted at identifying, refining and extending indigenous environmentally sound technologies that can be used to incorporate and preserve traditional forest-related knowledge.

Furthermore, as a result of the deliberations at its third session, under this common item, the Forum, in its resolution 3/4, invited Member States and members of the Partnership to provide their views, by the end of February 2004, on specific issues, in relation to the Convention on Biological Diversity, and requested the secretariat to submit a compilation of those views at its fourth session.

(c) Invite Member States and members of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests, in particular the World Bank, GEF and the International Tropical Timber Organization, to facilitate and develop an assessment and exploration of how to expand support for microcredit linked to enabling the transfer of environmentally sound technologies, especially for local communities;
(ج) يدعو الدول الأعضاء وأعضاء الشراكة التعاونية في مجال الغابات، ولا سيما البنك الدولي ومرفق البيئة العالمية والمنظمة الدولية للأخشاب المدارية، إلى تيسير ووضع تقييم واستكشاف كيفية توسيع نطاق الدعم للائتمانات الصغيرة المتصلة بالتمكين من نقل التكنولوجيات السليمة بيئيا، ولا سيما لفائدة المجتمعات المحلية.

113. Malaysia welcomed what the Member States and the members of the Permanent Forum were doing to enhance understanding and cooperation between States and indigenous peoples.
113 - وأردف قائلا إن ماليزيا ترحب أيضا بما تفعله الدول الأعضاء وأعضاء المنتدى الدائم من أجل تعزيز التفاهم والتعاون بين الدول والشعوب الأصلية.

It is recommended that, upon the conclusion of the research component of the Global Initiative, a report on that research should be prepared by UNODC for Member States and the members of the Steering Committee.
24- ويوصى بأن يعد المكتب المعني بالمخدرات والجريمة، لدى اختتام عنصر البحوث في المبادرة العالمية، تقريرا عن تلك البحوث لكي يقدم إلى الدول الأعضاء وأعضاء اللجنة التوجيهية.

(g) Invite Member States and the members of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests to continue its work related to information management and access to environmentally sound technologies, and, to this end, consider promotional events such as exhibits and fairs at relevant international forums;
