1. Each High Contracting Party and party to an armed conflict shall bear the responsibilities set out in this article with respect to all cluster munition remnants in territory under its control.
1- يتحمل كل طرف من الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية والطرف في نزاع مسلح المسؤوليات المبينة في هذه المادة فيما يتعلق بجميع الذخائر العنقودية من مخلفات الحرب في الإقليم الخاضع لسيطرته.

7. `Cluster munition remnants' means failed cluster munitions, abandoned cluster munitions and unexploded submunitions.
7- يُقصد ﺑ `الذخائر العنقودية من مخلفات الحرب` الذخائر العنقودية الفاشلة والذخائر العنقودية المتروكة والذخائر العنقودية غير المنفجرة.

16. " Recording " means a physical, administrative and technical operation designed to obtain, for the purpose of registration in official records, all available information facilitating the location of cluster munition remnants.
16- يُقصد ﺑ " التسجيل " عملية مادية وإدارية وتقنية مصممة للحصول، لأغراض التسجيل في سجلات رسمية، على جميع المعلومات المتاحة التي تيسّر تحديد مكان وجود الذخائر العنقودية من مخلفات الحرب.
