وتنص الفقرة 2 (د) من المادة الرابعة من النظام الأساسي التي عدلها أيضا المجلس، على أن يقدم مدير المعهد تقارير بموافقة المجلس، إلى المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي أو إلى الجمعية العامة، حسب الاقتضاء.

(b) Decide to amend paragraphs 1, 2 (e) and (h) and 5 of article IV of the statute of International Research and Training Institute for the Advancement of Women with regard to the Director and the Staff.

5. Decides to amend article IV of the statute of the Institute, with regard to the Director and the staff, paragraphs 1, 2, 2 (e) and 5 of which are to be replaced, as follows:

In accordance with article IV of the statute of United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI), adopted by the Economic and Social Council by its resolution 1989/56 of 24 May 1989, the Board of Trustees met in Turin, Italy, on 4 and 5 October 2007, for its sixteenth session.
1- وفقا للمادة الرابعة من النظام الأساسي لمعهد الأمم المتحدة الأقاليمي لأبحاث الجريمة والعدالة، الذي اعتمده المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي بموجب قراره 1989/56 المؤرخ 24 أيار/مايو 1989، عقد مجلس الأمناء دورته السادسة عشرة في تورينو، إيطاليا، يومي 4 و5 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2007.

In accordance with article IV of the statute, which was adopted by the Economic and Social Council in its resolution 1989/56, the Commission elects members of the Board of Trustees of the Institute upon nomination by the Secretary-General and endorsed by the Council.
