This course of action is in line with the guidelines on the use of general-purpose resources approved by the Commission at its reconvened forty-fourth session.

The first result-based programme budget for the biennium 2002-2003 for the Fund of the Programme was approved by the Commission at its reconvened forty-fourth session.

33. The Bureau recommended that a working group be established at the start of the resumed forty-fourth session of the Commission to discuss issues that might result in resolutions or decisions.
33 - وأوصى المكتب بإنشاء فريق عامل في بداية الدورة الرابعة والأربعين المستأنفة للجنة، بهدف مناقشة المسائل التي قد تصدر بشأنها قرارات أو مقررات.

The Board invited the representative of the Philippines to continue his consultations with a view to reaching agreement in time for the resumed forty-fourth session of the Working Party, to be held on 30 and 31 May, and requested the Working Party to consider the outcome of the consultations with a view to approving it.

19. As for previous sessions, the Bureau recommended that a working group be established at the start of the resumed forty-fourth session of the Commission to discuss issues that might result in resolutions or decisions. The working group should begin its work on the afternoon of the first day of the resumed session of the Commission.
19 - وعلى غرار الدورات الماضية، أوصى المكتب بإنشاء فريق عامل في بداية الدورة الرابعة والأربعين المستأنفة للجنة بهدف مناقشة المسائل التي قد تصدر بشأنها قرارات أو مقررات، على أن يبدأ الفريق العامل عمله بعد ظهر اليوم الأول من الدورة المستأنفة للجنة.

At its reconvened forty-fourth session in December, the Commission is expected to review and approve the proposed final biennial support and programme budget for 2000-2001 and the proposed initial biennial support and programme budget for 2002-2003 for the Fund of UNDCP.
وفي دورتها الرابعة والأربعين المستأنفة المعتزم عقدها في كانون الأول/ديسمبر، يتوقع من اللجنة أن تقوم باستعراض واقرار ميزانية الدعم والميزانية البرنامجية النهائيتين المقترحتين لفترة السنتين 2000-2001، وميزانية الدعم والميزانية البرنامجية الأوليتين المقترحتين لفترة السنتين 2002-2003، لصندوق اليوندسيب.

12. Requests the Executive Director to present a preliminary report on the progress made in the implementation of the present resolution to the Commission on Narcotic Drugs at its reconvened forty-fourth session and a final report at its forty-fifth session.
12- تطلب الى المدير التنفيذي أن يقدم تقريرا أوليا عن التقدم المحرز في تنفيذ هذا القرار الى لجنة المخدرات في دورتها الرابعة والأربعين المستأنفة وتقريرا نهائيا اليها في دورتها الخامسة والأربعين.

Several representatives welcomed the increased resources allocated to Africa by the Commission, as reflected in the initial budget for the biennium 2002-2003 approved at its reconvened forty-fourth session.

In its resolution 44/2, the Commission requested the Executive Director to identify elements of the biennial questionnaire that might need adjustment, taking into account the difficulties encountered and deficiencies perceived in completing the first biennial questionnaire, and to submit proposals for amendments to the Commission for adoption at its reconvened forty-fourth session.
