24. He also demanded: that an independent international medical mission be allowed to investigate the situation of Saharan political prisoners with a view to their release; that Morocco fulfil its obligations under article 2 of the Association Agreement between the European Union and the Kingdom of Morocco; and that the international community prevail on the Government of Morocco to act in good faith to put an end to the conflict.
24 - وفي الختام، طلب أيضا: أن يُسمح لبعثة طبية دولية مستقلة بالتحقيق في حالة السجناء السياسيين الصحراويين بقصد إطلاق سراحهم؛ وأن يفي المغرب بالتزاماته بموجب المادة 2 من اتفاق الانتساب بين الاتحاد الأوروبي والمملكة المغربية؛ وأن يُقنع المجتمع الدولي حكومة المغرب بالتصرف بنية حسنة لإنهاء النزاع.

Considerable attention was devoted to the question of the Saharan people, beginning with a written statement (E/CN.4/2004/NGO/139) and followed by an oral presentation concerning the status of Saharan political prisoners and the disappearance of 108 persons whose cases, according to the report of the Working Group on Enforces or Involuntary Disappearances, were awaiting clarification (E/CN.4/2004/58).
تناول جزء هام من الأنشطة قضية الشعب الصحراوي وحقه في تقرير المصير، بدءا ببيان خطي (E/CN.4/2004/NGO/139)، ثم مداخلة شفوية تناولت وضع السجناء السياسيين الصحراويين فضلا عن حالات الاختفاء، ومنها 108 حالة ما زالت غامضة حسب تقرير الفريق العامل المعني بحالات الاختفاء القسري أو غير الطوعي (E/CN.4/2004/58).

24. The peace-loving peoples of the world must mobilize to apply pressure on the Moroccan authorities to comply with international law and immediately release the Sahrawi political prisoners it was arbitrarily detaining without due process.
24 - ويجب أن تحتشد شعوب العالم المحبة للسلام كي تمارس الضغط على السلطات المغربية لتمتثل للقانون الدولي وتطلق على الفور سراح السجناء السياسيين الصحراويين الذين تحتجزهم بصورة متعسفة دون اتباع الإجراءات القانونية الواجبة.
