In this context, they reiterated the resolve at the Millennium Summit by the Heads of State or Government as contained in the United Nations Millennium Declaration to strive for the elimination of weapons of mass destruction, in particular nuclear weapons, and to keep all options open for achieving this aim, including the possibility of convening an international conference to identify ways and means of eliminating nuclear dangers.

Encourages further steps leading to nuclear disarmament, in accordance with article VI of the Treaty, including deeper reductions in all types of nuclear weapons, and emphasizes the importance of applying the principles of irreversibility and verifiability, as well as increased transparency, in a way that promotes international stability and undiminished security for all, in the process of working towards the elimination of nuclear weapons;

كما شجَّع الفريق الدول الأطراف على السعي إلى إزالة الحواجز التي تمنع استرداد الموجودات، لا سيما بتبسيط الإجراءات المحلية وتعزيزها منعاً لإساءة استخدامها.

We reiterate our common opinion that enhanced economic and trade relations between our nations would best contribute to better understanding and cooperation in our region, and stress our political will to strive for the removal of existing barriers prior to such cooperation.
