The regulations established a system of inspection enabling the Authority to send its inspectors on board vessels and installations used by the contractor in a form of cooperation by the Authority and by the Sponsoring State or States.
وقد حددت اﻷنظمة نظاما للتفتيش يمكن السلطة من إرسال مفتشيها على متن السفن والمنشآت التي يستخدمها المتعاقدون في شكل تعاون من جانب السلطة ومن جانب الدولة، أو الدول، المزكية.

14.1 The Contractor shall permit the Authority to send its inspectors on board vessels and installations used by the Contractor to carry out activities in the exploration area to:

12 - يسمح المتعاقدون للسلطة بإرسال مفتشيها على متن السفن والمنشآت التي يستخدمها المتعاقد للقيام بأنشطة استكشاف في المنطقة لكي تقوم، في جملة أمور، برصد ما لهذه الأنشطة من آثار على البيئة البحرية.

14.5 Inspectors shall avoid interference with the safe and normal operations on board vessels and installations used by the Contractor to carry out activities in the area visited and shall act in accordance with the Regulations and the measures adopted to protect confidentiality of data and information of commercial value.
٤١-٥ يتجنب المفتشون التدخل في العمليات اﻵمنة المعتادة على متن السفن والمنشآت التي يستخدمها المتعاقد للقيام بأنشطة في القطاع الذي يزورونه ويتصرفون وفقا لﻷنظمة والتدابير المعتمدة لحماية سرية البيانات والمعلومات ذات القيمة التجارية.
