ويجب على الدول الأعضاء والقادة تحسين التقدم المحرز في تحقيق الهدف المتمثل في وقف انتشار الأسلحة النووية والسعي لتحقيق السلام والأمن في عالم خال منها.

Both the Security Council Summit in September and the 2010 Review Conference of the Parties to the Treaty on the NonProliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) committed States to achieve the peace and security of a world without nuclear weapons.
