The CHAIRMAN invited the Committee to consider a request for the inclusion of an additional sub-item entitled " Emergency international assistance for a solution to the problem of refugees, the restoration of total peace, reconstruction and socio-economic development in war-stricken Rwanda " , contained in document A/49/233.
١ - الرئيس: طلب من اللجنة أن تنظر في طلب إدراج بند فرعي إضافي بعنوان " تقديم المساعدة الدولية الطارئة من أجل حل مشكلة اللاجئين وإعادة إقرار السلم التام والتعمير والتنمية الاجتماعية - الاقتصادية في رواندا المنكوبة بالحرب " ورد في الوثيقة A/49/233.

8. Requests the Secretary-General to provide all possible assistance to support the strengthening of total peace in Rwanda and to submit to the General Assembly at its fiftieth session a report on the implementation of the present resolution;
٨ - تطلب إلى اﻷمين العام أن يدعم، بتقديم كل مساعدة ممكنة، توطيد السلم التام في رواندا وأن يقدم إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الخمسين تقريرا عن تنفيذ هذا القرار؛

1. The present report is submitted pursuant to General Assembly resolution 49/23 of 2 December 1994 on emergency international assistance for a solution to the problem of refugees, the restoration of total peace, reconstruction and socio-economic development in Rwanda.
١ - يقدم هذا التقرير عملا بقرار الجمعية العامة ٤٩/٢٣ المؤرخ ٢ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٤ بشأن تقديم المساعدة الدولية الطارئة من أجل حل مشكلة اللاجئين وإعادة إقرار السلم التام والتعمير والتنمية الاجتماعية والاقتصادية في رواندا المنكوبة بالحرب.

As the preamble and operative paragraphs indicate, the draft resolution emphasizes the need for emergency international assistance for a solution to the problem of refugees, the restoration of total peace and reconstruction and socio-economic development in war-stricken Rwanda.
ويؤكد مشروع القرار، حسبما تُبين ديباجته وفقرات منطوقه، على الحاجة إلى تقديم مساعدة دولية طارئة ﻹيجاد حل لمشكلة اللاجئين وإعادة إقرار السلم التام والتعمير والتنمية الاجتماعية - الاقتصادية في رواندا المنكوبة بالحرب.

The Acting President: The Assembly will now take a decision on draft resolution A/51/L.50/Rev.1, entitled “International assistance to Rwanda for the reintegration of returning refugees, the restoration of total peace, reconstruction and socio-economic development”.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Rwanda draws attention to the following considerations as grounds for the inclusion of a new sub-item entitled " Emergency international assistance for a solution to the problem of refugees, the restoration of total peace, reconstruction and socio-economic development in war-stricken Rwanda " in the agenda of the forty-ninth regular session of the General Assembly, under item 37:

Fourthly, under sub-item (f), there is draft resolution A/49/L.24/Rev.1, entitled “Emergency international assistance for a solution to the problem of refugees, the restoration of total peace, reconstruction and socio-economic development in war-stricken Rwanda”.
