Reaffirming further that no distinctions are permitted among citizens in the enjoyment of the right to participate in the conduct of political and public affairs on the grounds of race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status, or on the basis of disability,
وإذ يؤكد من جديد كذلك أنه لا يجوز التمييز بين المواطنين في التمتع بالحق في المشاركة في إدارة الشأن السياسي والعام على أساس العرق أو اللون أو الجنس أو اللغة أو الدين أو الرأي السياسي أو غيره أو الأصل القومي أو الاجتماعي أو الملكية أو المولد أو أي وضع آخر أو على أساس الإعاقة،

3. Reaffirms the obligation of States to take all appropriate measures to ensure that every citizen has an effective right and opportunity to participate in political and public affairs on an equal basis;
3- يؤكد من جديد التزام الدول باتخاذ جميع التدابير المناسبة التي تكفل لكل مواطن على نحو فعال حق وفرصة المشاركة في الشأن السياسي والعام على قدم المساواة؛

4. Urges all States to ensure the full and effective participation of all citizens in political and public affairs on an equal basis, including by, inter alia:
4- يحث جميع الدول على تأمين مشاركة جميع المواطنين مشاركة كاملة وفعالة في الشأن السياسي والعام على قدم المساواة بوسائل منها ما يلي:

Reaffirming further that no distinctions are permitted among citizens in the enjoyment of the right to participate in the conduct of political and public affairs on the grounds of race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status, or on the basis of disability,
وإذ يؤكد من جديد كذلك أنه لا يجوز التمييز بين المواطنين في التمتع بالحق في المشاركة في إدارة الشأن السياسي والعام بناء على العرق أو اللون أو الجنس أو اللغة أو الدين أو الرأي السياسي أو غيره أو الأصل القومي أو الاجتماعي أو الملكية أو المولد أو أي وضع آخر أو الإعاقة،

3. Reaffirms the obligation of States to take all appropriate measures to ensure that every citizen has an effective right and opportunity to participate in political and public affairs on an equal basis;
3- يؤكد من جديد التزام الدول باتخاذ جميع التدابير المناسبة التي تكفل لكل مواطن على نحو فعال الحق والفرصة في المشاركة في الشأن السياسي والعام على قدم المساواة؛

(c) Ensuring that no one's right to participate in political and public affairs of his or her country is suspended or conditioned, except on objective and reasonable grounds which are duly established by law and in conformity with international law;
(ج) ضمان ألا يكون حق أي شخص في المشاركة في الشأن السياسي والعام لبلده معلّقاً أو مشروطاً، إلا لأسباب موضوعية ومعقولة ينص عليها القانون على النحو الواجب وتتوافق مع القانون الدولي؛

(c) Ensuring that no one's right to participate in political and public affairs of his or her country is suspended or conditioned, except on objective and reasonable grounds which are duly established by law and in conformity with international law;
(ج) ضمان عدم تعليق حق أي شخص في المشاركة في الشأن السياسي والعام لبلده أو جعله مشروطاً، إلا لأسباب موضوعية ومعقولة ينص عليها القانون على النحو الواجب وتتوافق مع القانون الدولي؛

(e) Taking appropriate measures to encourage publicly and promote the importance of participation of all citizens in political and public affairs, in particular women, persons belonging to marginalized groups or to minorities, and persons in vulnerable situations, including by engaging them in designing, evaluating and reviewing policies on participation in political and public affairs;
(ﻫ) اتخاذ تدابير مناسبة تشجّع علناً على مشاركة جميع المواطنين، لا سيما النساء، والأشخاص المنتمين إلى فئات مهمشة أو إلى أقليات، والأشخاص ضعفاء الحال، في الشأن السياسي والعام وتعزز أهمية تلك المشاركة، بوسائل منها إشراكهم في تصميم السياسات المتعلقة بالمشاركة في الشأن السياسي والعام وتقييم هذه السياسات ومراجعتها؛
