كما أكدت الجمعية العامة من جديد دعمها القوي لدور المركز الإقليمي في النهوض بأنشطة الأمم المتحدة على الصعيد الإقليمي من أجل تعزيز السلام والاستقرار والأمن، وطلبت إلى الأمين العام أن يقدم تقريرا إلى الجمعية في دورتها الخامسة والستين بشأن تنفيذ هذا القرار.
