٢ - فيما يتعلق بكل دولـة تصدق على هذا الاتفـاق أو تنضـم إليه بعد إيداع الصك العاشر من صكوك التصديق أو الانضمام، يبدأ نفاذ هذا الاتفاق في اليوم الثلاثين التالي ﻹيداع صك تصديقها أو انضمامها.

2. For each State which ratifies the Agreement or accedes thereto after the deposit of the tenth instrument of ratification or accession, this Agreement shall enter into force on the thirtieth day following the deposit of its instrument of ratification or accession.

The present report details additional budgetary requirements relating to the Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, which, in accordance with article 18 of the Optional Protocol, enters into force three months after the date of the deposit with the Secretary-General of the tenth instrument of ratification or accession.

In accordance with article 19 of the Optional Protocol, it will enter into force three months after the deposit of the tenth instrument of ratification or accession (currently there are two States parties). The Committee meets in Geneva three times a year for three weeks.
