Having considered the estimates for 1999 for the Supplementary Fund and the Special Fund, contained in document ICCD/COP(1)/3/Add.1,

Document ICCD/COP(3)/2/Add.1 provides cost plans for the biennium for the Supplementary Fund and the Special Fund.

2. Cost plans for the Supplementary Fund and the Special Fund for the biennium 2000-2001 have been prepared and are presented in this document for review by the Conference of the Parties.

In light of the above decision, the Executive Secretary submits herewith, for the consideration of the Parties, a report on the status of the Supplementary Fund and the Special Fund.

2. Cost plans for the Supplementary Fund and the Special Fund for the biennium 2004-2005 are presented in this document for review by the Conference of the Parties.

12. In accordance with relevant decisions of the COP, the cost plans for the Supplementary Fund and the Special Fund for the biennium 2004-2005 will be submitted for consideration by the Parties at the sixth session of the COP.

10. In accordance with relevant decisions of the COP, the cost plans for the Supplementary Fund and the Special Fund for the biennium 2006-2007 are submitted for consideration by the Parties at COP 7.
10- وفقاً لمقررات مؤتمر الأطراف ذات الصلة، ستعرض خطط تكاليف الصندوق التكميلي والصندوق الخاص لفترة السنتين 2006-2007 على الدول الأطراف لتنظر فيها في الدورة السابعة لمؤتمر الأطراف.

2. In accordance with rule 4 of the financial rules of the COP, the COP shall consider the budget estimates and adopt by consensus a core budget authorizing expenditures other than those from the Supplementary Fund and the Special Fund, prior to the commencement of the financial period covered by the budget.
2- ووفقاً للمادة 4 من القواعد المالية لمؤتمر الأطراف، يقوم مؤتمر الأطراف، قبيل الفترة المالية التي تغطيها هذه الميزانية، بالنظر في تقديرات الميزانية ويعتمد بتوافق الآراء ميزانية أساسية تأذن بنفقات غير النفقات الآتية من الصندوق التكميلي والصندوق الخاص.

This involves submitting to the COP a proposed programme and budget as well as reporting to the COP on the status of various funds such as the Supplementary Fund and the Special Fund.
وينطوي هذا على تقديم برنامج مقترح وميزانية مقترحة إلى مؤتمر الأطراف، فضلاً عن تقديم تقرير إليه عن حالة مختلف الصناديق، مثل الصندوق التكميلي والصندوق الخاص().

12. As indicated in paragraph 3 above, information concerning planned activities and estimated requirements in the next biennium to be financed under the Supplementary Fund and the Special Fund are provided in document ICCD/COP(3)/2/Add.1.
12- وكما سبقت الإشارة إليه في الفقرة 3 أعلاه، ترد في الوثيقة ICCD/COP(3)/2/Add.1 المعلومات المتعلقة بالأنشطة المخطط لها والاحتياجات المقدرة في فترة السنتين القادمة التي سيتم تمويلها في إطار الصندوق التكميلي والصندوق الخاص.
