The interference of United States and British warplanes with civil aviation and their threats to shoot down Iraqi civilian aircraft are acts of terrorism such as demand your immediate intervention to halt them, given that they represent a threat to peace and security in the region.
إن اعتراض الطائرات الحربية الأمريكية والبريطانية للطيران المدني وتهديدها بإسقاط الطائرات المدنية العراقية هو من أعمال الإرهاب التي تستوجب تدخلكم الفوري لوقفها، كونها تمثل تهديدا للسلم والأمن في المنطقة.

In addition, we demand the immediate lifting of the unjust blockade that has been imposed on Iraq and has been applied with extreme severity against it, and we also demand an immediate end to the barbaric daily bombardment by United States and British warplanes of civilian and economic sites.
وعلاوة على ذلك فإننا نطالب بالرفع الفوري للحصار الظالم المفروض على العراق والمطبق بصرامة بالغة ضده وكذلك لوضع حد فوري للقصف الوحشي اليومي من قبل الطائرات الحربية الأمريكية والبريطانية ضد المواقع المدنية والاقتصادية.

I should like to inform you that United States and British warplanes based in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Turkey have continued to violate the airspace of the Republic of Iraq. They carried out 424 sorties in the period from 5 to 25 May 2001, 134 of them from Saudi Arabia, 160 from Kuwait and 130 from Turkey, as shown hereunder.
أود إحاطتكم علما بأن الطائرات الحربية الأمريكية والبريطانية واصلت خرقها لحرمة أجواء جمهورية العراق، منطلقة من قواعد لها في السعودية والكويت وتركيا حيث قامت بتنفيذ 424 طلعة جوية خلال الفترة من 5 أيار/مايو ولغاية 25 أيار/مايو 2001، بواقع 134 طلعة من السعودية و 160 طلعة من الكويت و 130 طلعة من تركيا.

On instructions from my Government, I should like to transmit to you herewith a letter dated 11 September 2002 from Mr. Naji Sabri, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Iraq, concerning violations of the demilitarized zone which have been committed by United States and British warplanes, together with a table showing those violations for the period from 27 July to 16 August 2002.
بناء على تعليمات من حكومتي أود أن أنقل إليكم طيه رسالة الدكتور ناحي صبري وزير خارجية جمهورية العراق المؤرخة 11 أيلول/سبتمبر 2002، والتي تتعلق بخروقات الطائرات الحربية الأمريكية والبريطانية للمنطقة منزوعة السلاح مع جدول يبين هذه الخروقات خلال الفترة من 27 تموز/يوليه 2002 إلى غاية 16 آب/أغسطس 2002.
