Enlightened globalism will compel us, with alacrity and dignity, to make good the humanitarian obligations of this “one world” to the least-developed countries, to Africa, to small developing islands and low-lying developing coastal areas like Belize, to land-locked countries and to other disadvantaged places.
إن العولمة المستنيرة سـوف تضطرنـا، بسرعـة وكرامة، الى الوفاء بالالتزامات اﻹنسانية الواقعة على عاتق هذا " العالم الواحد " إزاء أقل البلدان نمـوا فـي افريقيا، والجزر الصغيرة النامية، والمناطق الساحلية النامية الواطئة، مثل بليز، والبلدان غير الساحليـة وغيرها من اﻷماكن المحرومة من المزايا.

When servicemen from Asia, Africa or Latin America attend to the basic needs of refugees in Europe, in the former Yugoslavia, and keep the beleaguered people from starving, then that is, I believe, a marvellous indication that the “one world” is a reality.

In 1947, India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, said that " Peace has been said to be indivisible; so is freedom, so is prosperity, and so also is disaster in this one world that can no longer be split into isolated fragments " .

وعلى الصعيد العالمي، يتطلب هذا احترام مبدأ المساواة السيادية بين الدول، والالتزام بإثراء - وليس بإفقار - كل منها اﻷخرى، وضرورة التمسك بمبادئ ميثاق اﻷمم المتحدة والقانون الدولي والدفاع عنها، وتسوية النزاعات بالوسائل السلمية، وتعزيز جميع حقوق اﻹنسان، واحترام العالم الواحد الوحيد الذي نعيش فيه.
