44. The twelfth session of the Regional Coordination Mechanism of the United Nations agencies and organizations working in Africa in support of the African Union and its NEPAD programme, Africa was held on 21 and 22 November 2011 in Addis Ababa on the theme " Capacity-building " .

The findings and recommendations of the independent expert were subsequently discussed at the eleventh session of the Regional Coordination Mechanism of United Nations agencies and organizations working in Africa in support of the African Union and its New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD) programme, held in Addis Ababa from 14 to 15 November 2010.
