42. The open-ended inter-sessional working Group of the Commission on Human Rights was established by the Commission in its resolution 1995/32 of 3 March 1995 with the sole purpose of elaborating the draft United Nations declaration on the rights of indigenous peoples.
٤٢ - وأنشئ الفريق العامل بين الدورات المفتوح باب العضوية التابع للجنة حقوق اﻹنسان، بقرار اللجنة ١٩٩٥/٣٢ المؤرخ ٣ آذار/مارس ١٩٩٥ لغاية وحيدة، هي إعداد مشروع إعلان اﻷمم المتحدة بشأن حقوق الشعوب اﻷصلية.

2. The seventh session of the open-ended intersessional Working Group of the Commission on Human Rights on a draft declaration on the rights of indigenous peoples was held at Geneva from 28 January to 8 February 2002.
2 - عقدت الدورة السابعة للفريق العامل بين الدورات المفتوح باب العضوية التابع للجنة حقوق الإنسان والمعني بوضع مشروع إعلان حقوق السكان الأصليين، في جنيف، في الفترة من 28 كانون الثاني/يناير إلى 8 شباط/فبراير 2002.

6. Supports the work of the open-ended inter-sessional working group of the Commission on Human Rights on a draft optional protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the involvement of children in armed conflict, and expresses the hope that it will make further progress with a view to finalizing its work;
٦ - يؤيد العمل الذي يقوم به الفريق العامل بين الدورات المفتوح باب العضوية التابع للجنة حقوق اﻹنسان بشأن وضع مشروع بروتوكول اختياري ملحق باتفاقية حقوق الطفل يتعلق باشترك اﻷطفال في الصراعات المسلحة ويعرب عن أمله في أن يحرز الفريق المزيد من التقدم لكي ينتهي من عمله؛

6. Supports the work of the open-ended inter-sessional working group of the Commission on Human Rights on a draft optional protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the involvement of children in armed conflict, and expresses the hope that it will make further progress with a view to finalizing its work;
6 - يؤيد العمل الذي يقوم به الفريق العامل بين الدورات المفتوح باب العضوية التابع للجنة حقوق الإنسان بشأن وضع مشروع بروتوكول اختياري ملحق باتفاقية حقوق الطفل يتعلق باشترك الأطفال في الصراعات المسلحة ويعرب عن أمله في أن يحرز الفريق المزيد من التقدم لكي ينتهي من عمله؛

1. Authorizes the open-ended inter-sessional working group of the Commission on Human Rights established in accordance with Commission resolution 1995/32 of 3 March 1995 to meet for a period of ten working days prior to the fifty-fifth session of the Commission, the costs of the meeting to be met from within existing resources;
١ - يأذن للفريق العامل بين الدورات المفتوح باب العضوية التابع للجنة حقوق اﻹنسان، الذي أنشئ وفقا لقرار اللجنة ١٩٩٥/٣٢ المؤرخ ٣ آذار/مارس ١٩٩٥، بأن يجتمع لمدة عشرة أيام عمل قبل الدورة الخامسة والخمسين للجنة، على أن تغطى تكاليف الاجتماع من الموارد القائمة؛

In accordance with Economic and Social Council resolution 1995/32, the Committee will continue its consideration of applications from organizations of indigenous people not in consultative status with the Council that are interested in participating in the open-ended inter-sessional working Group of the Commission on Human Rights to elaborate a draft declaration on the rights of indigenous people.
وفقا لقرار المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي ١٩٩٥/٣٢، ستواصل اللجنة نظرها في الطلبات المقدمة من منظمات السكان اﻷصليين التي لا تتمتع بمركز استشاري لدى المجلس والتي تود المشاركة في فريق لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان العامل بين الدورات المفتوح باب العضوية لصياغة مشروع إعلان بشأن حقوق السكان اﻷصليين.

This open-ended inter-sessional working group, which meets for two weeks every year, was established by the Commission in its resolution 1992/43 of 3 March 1992 and was recently extended by Commission resolution 1996/37 of 19 April 1996 and Council resolution 1996/22 of 23 July 1996;

*The Centre's representatives attended the 6 " h session of open-ended inter-sessional working Group on the Draft Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples that was held from 20 November to 1 December, 2000 in Geneva.
:: حضر ممثلو المركز الدورة السادسة للفريق العامل بين الدورات المفتوح باب العضوية المعني بمشروع الإعلان المتعلق بحقوق الشعوب الأصلية، التي عُقدت في الفترة الممتدة بين 20 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر و 1 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2000 في جنيف.

Concerning the use of the term " indigenous peoples and local communities " , the Conference of the Parties requested that the ad hoc open-ended intersessional Working Group on Article 8 (j) and Related Provisions take into account submissions on this matter and all its implications for the Convention on Biological Diversity and its parties.
وفيما يتعلق باستخدام مصطلح " الشعوب والمجتمعات المحلية الأصلية " ، التمس مؤتمر الأطراف أن يضع الفريق المخصص العامل بين الدورات المفتوح باب العضوية المعني بالمادة 8 (ي) والأحكام ذات الصلة في اعتباره الطلبات المقدمة بشأن هذه المسألة وكل آثارها على اتفاقية التنوع البيولوجي وأطرافها.

57. Within this framework, indigenous peoples have participated in sessions of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention and in meetings of the Ad Hoc open-ended intersessional Working Group on Article 8 (j) and Related Provisions of the Convention on Biological Diversity, which was established to advance a programme of work for implementation of that article.
57 - وضمن هذا الإطار، شاركت الشعوب الأصلية في دورات مؤتمر الأطراف في الاتفاقية وفي اجتماعات الفريق المخصص العامل بين الدورات المفتوح باب العضوية بشأن المادة 8 (ي) والأحكام ذات الصلة من اتفاقية التنوع البيولوجي، الذي أنشئ لطرح برنامج عمل لتنفيذ هذه المادة.

By paragraph 4 of section III of the resolution, the Council decided that the open-ended in-sessional working group on United Nations standards and norms in crime prevention and criminal justice would discuss during the fifth session of the Commission the establishment of efficient information-gathering mechanisms on prisons conditions.
وقرر المجلس، بالفقرة ٤ من الفرع ثالثا من القرار، أن يناقش الفريق العامل بين الدورات المفتوح باب العضوية المعني بمعايير اﻷمم المتحدة وقواعدها في مجال منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية، خلال الدورة الخامسة للجنة، مسألة إنشاء آليات فعالة لجمع المعلومات تعنى بأوضاع السجون.
