65- بموجب القرار 56/196 المؤرخ 7 شباط/فبراير 2002، وافقت الجمعية العامَّة على استمرار الصلة المُؤسَّسية الراهنة بين أمانة الاتفاقية والأمانة العامة للأمم المتحدة لمدة خمس سنوات أخرى، على أن تعيد الجمعية العامة ومؤتمر الأطراف النظر فيها خلال فترة لا تتعدَّى 31 كانون الأوَّل/ديسمبر 2006.

At its reconvened fifty-sixth session, the Commission endorsed, on the recommendation of the extended Bureau, the organizational arrangements for the General debate as set out in document E/CN.7/2014/13.

Pursuant to paragraph 40 of the Political Declaration, Member States recommended that the Economic and Social Council should devote a high-level segment to a theme related to the world drug problem and that the General Assembly should hold a special session to address the world drug problem.
وعملاً بالفقرة 40 من الإعلان السياسي، أوصت الدول الأعضاء بضرورة أنْ يخصِّص المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي جزءاً رفيع المستوى لمناقشة موضوع يتعلق بمشكلة المخدِّرات العالمية، وأن تَعقد الجمعية العامَّة دورةً استثنائيةً للنظر في هذه المشكلة.

The recommendations of the Committee thereon will be transmitted to the General Assembly at its sixty-ninth session when it considers the proposed strategic framework for the biennium 2016-2017.

In its resolution 1999/30, the Economic and Social Council recommended that the Commission should convene, whenever appropriate, ministerial-level segments of its sessions to focus on specific themes related to the follow-up to the twentieth special session of the General Assembly.

(a) A normative segment, during which the Commission would discharge its treaty-based and normative functions, including mandates received from the General Assembly and the Council, and deal with emerging drug control issues;

The Committee, while welcoming the submission of the State party's second periodic report, regrets that it was rather legalistic, did not address practical aspects of implementation and was not prepared in accordance with the General guidelines regarding the form and contents of periodic reports (CRC/C/58).
90- إنّ اللجنة، إذ تُرَحِّب بتقديم الدولة الطرف تقريرها الدوري الثاني، تأْسَف لأنَّه يصطبغ بصبغة قانونية إلى حدٍّ ما ولم يتناول الجوانب العملية للتنفيذ، ولم يجر إعدادُه وفقاً للمبادئ التوجيهية العامَّة المُتعلِّقة بشكل ومضمون التقارير الدورية (CRC/C/58).

the General Assembly, in its resolution 68/197, took note of Commission resolution 56/12, invited Member States and observers to participate actively at the appropriate level in the high-level review and noted that the outcome of the high-level review would be submitted through the Council to the Assembly for its consideration, in view of the special session of the Assembly on the world drug problem to be held in 2016.
وأخذت الجمعية العامَّة علماً، في قرارها 68/197، بقرار اللجنة 56/12، ودعت الدول الأعضاء والمراقبين إلى المشاركة بنشاط على المستوى المناسب في الاستعراض الرفيع المستوى، وأشارت إلى أنَّ نتائج الاستعراض الرفيع المستوى ستُقدَّم إليها من خلال المجلس لتنظر فيها، استعداداً للدورة الاستثنائية المزمع أن تعقدها بشأن مشكلة المخدِّرات العالمية في عام 2016.
