The General Assembly was alarmed, in particular, at the increase in racist violence and xenophobic ideas in many parts of the world, in political circles, in the sphere of public opinion and in society at large, inter alia, as a result of the resurgent activities of associations established on the basis of racist and xenophobic platforms and charters, and the persistent use of those platforms and charters to promote or incite racist ideologies.
وأعربت الجمعية العامة عن جزعها بصفة خاصة بسبب تنامي العنف بدوافع عنصرية وأفكار تدعو لكراهية الأجانب في أجزاء عديدة من العالم، في الدوائر السياسية وفي مجال الرأي العام وفي المجتمع ككل، نتيجة أمور من بينها ظهور أنشطة الرابطات المنشأة على أساس البرامج والمواثيق العنصرية والمحرضة على كراهية الأجانب والتمادي في استعمال تلك البرامج والمواثيق لترويج الإيديولوجيات العنصرية أو التحريض على اعتناقها.

(b) In the seventeenth preambular paragraph, the words " in particular at the increasing use of far right political platforms to promote or incite racist ideologies " , which appeared after the words " society at large " , were deleted;
(ب) في الفقرة السابعة عشرة من الديباجة تحذف عبارة " ولا سيما تنامي اللجوء إلى المنابر السياسية لليمين المتطرف من أجل ترويج الأيديولوجيات العنصرية أو التحريض على اعتناقها " التي تظهر بعد عبارة " المجتمع عموما " ؛

(a) In the sixth preambular paragraph, the words " extremist organizations, and at the persisting use of political platforms to promote or incite racist ideologies " were replaced by the words " associations established on the basis of racist and xenophobic platforms and charters, as reflected in the report of the Special Rapporteur, and at the persisting use of those platforms and charters to promote or incite racist ideologies " ;
(أ) في الفقرة السادسة من الديباجة، يستعاض عن عبارة " المنظمات المتطرفة، والتمادي في استغلال المنابر السياسية لترويج الأيديولوجيات العنصرية والتحريض على اعتناقها " بعبارة " الرابطات المنشأة على أساس المنابر والمواثيق العنصرية وكراهية الأجانب، كما ورد في تقرر المقرر الخاص، والتمادي في استغلال تلك المنابر والمواثيق لترويج الأيديولوجيات العنصرية أو التحريض على اعتناقها " ؛
