As a manifestation of our contribution to global development efforts, especially for the LDCs, we hosted the annual ministerial conference on Making globalization work for the least Developed Countries, from 9 to 11 July 2007.
وإظهارا لمساهمتنا في جهود التنمية العالمية، وخاصة بالنسبة لأقل البلدان نموا، استضفنا المؤتمر الوزاري السنوي المعني بجعل العولمة تعمل لصالح أقل البلدان نموا، وذلك في الفترة من 9 إلى 11 تموز/يوليه 2007.

In particular, improvements in physical infrastructure and transportation at the domestic and regional levels are particularly important in terms of making globalization work for least developed countries, improving access for the poor to essential services and achieving the Millennium Development Goals.
وعلى وجه الخصوص، فإن للتحسينات في الهياكل الأساسية المادية والنقل، على الصعيدين المحلي أو الإقليمي، أهمية خاصة فيما يتعلق بجعل العولمة تعمل لصالح أقل البلدان نموا، ولتحسين فرص حصول الفقراء على الخدمات الأساسية، ولتحقيق الأهداف الإنمائية للألفية.

Additionally, during the ministerial conference on the theme " Making globalization work for the least developed countries " , which was held in Istanbul in July 2007, we pledged $5 million to finance small- and medium-scale regional development projects in least developed countries.
وعلاوة على ذلك، وخلال المؤتمر الوزاري بشأن موضوع " جعل العولمة تعمل لصالح أقل البلدان نموا " ، الذي عقد في إسطنبول في تموز/يوليه 2007، تعهدنا بالمساهمة بـ 5 ملايين دولار لتمويل مشاريع إنمائية إٌقليمية، من الحجم الصغير والمتوسط، في أقل البلدان نموا.

We commend Turkey for taking the initiative of organizing the Ministerial Conference " Making globalization work for the least Developed Countries " and express our deep gratitude and sincere appreciation to the Government and people of Turkey for their warm hospitality, generosity and the facilities made available to ensure its success;
