1. Decides to proclaim 21 March of each year the International Day of Forests, to be observed starting in 2013, in order to celebrate and raise awareness of the importance of all types of forests and of trees outside forests;
1 - تقرر إعلان 21 آذار/مارس من كل عام اليوم الدولي للغابات، على أن يبدأ الاحتفال به اعتبارا من عام 2013 من أجل الاحتفاء بجميع أنـواع الغابات والأشجار الموجودة خارج الغابات والتوعية بأهميتها؛

Recognizing the importance of the multiple economic, social and environmental benefits derived from goods and services provided by forests and trees outside forests; from PP6 of draft resolution contained in E/2006/4
وإذ تسلِّم بأهمية المنافع الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والبيئية المستمدة من السلع والخدمات التي توفرها الغابات والأشجار الموجودة خارج الغابات؛ من الفقرة 6 من ديباجة مشروع القرار الوارد في الوثيقة E/2006/4.

Recognizing that forests and trees outside forests provide multiple economic, social and environmental benefits, and emphasizing that sustainable forest management contributes significantly to sustainable development and poverty eradication,
إذ تسلم بأن الغابات والأشجار الموجودة خارج الغابات تنشأ عنها مكاسب اقتصادية واجتماعية وبيئية متعددة، وإذ تشدد على أن الإدارة المستدامة للغابات تساهم مساهمة كبيرة في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة والقضاء على الفقر،

5. In the forest instrument, Member States recognized that forests and trees outside forests provide multiple economic, social and environmental benefits and that sustainable forest management contributes significantly to sustainable development and poverty eradication.
5 - ويقر صك الغابات بأن الغابات والأشجار الموجودة خارج الغابات توفر فوائد اقتصادية واجتماعية وبيئية عديدة وبأن الإدارة المستدامة للغابات تسهم إسهاما مهما في التنمية المستدامة واستئصال الفقر.

2. Invites all Member States to devote the International Day, as appropriate in the national context, to presenting and promoting concrete activities with regard to all types of forests and trees outside forests;
2 - تدعو جميع الدول الأعضاء إلى تكريس اليوم الدولي، حسب الاقتضاء، في السياق الوطني، لعرض أنشطة ملموسة تتعلق بجميع أنـواع الغابات والأشجار الموجودة خارج الغابات وتشجيع تلك الأنشطة؛

3. Encourages all Member States to organize activities related to all types of forests and trees outside forests, such as tree planting campaigns, at the time most appropriate to each State;
3 - تشجع جميع الدول الأعضاء على تنظيم أنشطة تتصل بجميع أنـواع الغابات والأشجار الموجودة خارج الغابات، كحملات غرس الأشجار، في الوقت الأنسب لكل دولة؛

وإذ تقر بأنه تم تكريس العديد من الأيام على الصعد الإقليمي والوطني ودون الوطني وإقامة العديد من المناسبات الدولية في جميع أنحاء العالم لتأكيد قيمة الغابات والأشجار الموجودة خارج الغابات بجميع أنواعها والاعتراف بفوائدها،

(l) Encouraging the development of mechanisms, including systems for attributing proper value, as appropriate, to the benefits derived from goods and services provided by forests and trees outside forests, consistent with relevant national legislation and policies;
(ل) التشجيع على وضع آليات تشمل نظما لتحديد القيمة الصحيحة، حسب الاقتضاء، للفوائد التي تدرها السلع والخدمات التي تقدمها الغابات والأشجار الموجودة خارج الغابات، بما يتسق مع التشريعات والسياسات الوطنية ذات الصلة؛

(l) Encouraging the development of mechanisms, including systems for attributing proper value, as appropriate, to the benefits derived from goods and services provided by forests and trees outside forests, consistent with relevant national legislation and policies;
(ل) التشجيع على وضع آليات تشمل نظما لتحديد القيمة الصحيحة، حسب الاقتضاء، للفوائد التي تدرها السلع والخدمات المستمدة من الغابات والأشجار الموجودة خارج الغابات، بما يتماشى مع التشريعات والسياسات الوطنية ذات الصلة؛

3. At its ninth session, the Forum requested the Secretary-General to continue to address the relationship between forests and trees outside forests and the internationally agreed development goals, including the Millennium Development Goals, at relevant international and regional meetings addressing sustainable development.
3 - وفي الدورة التاسعة، طلب المنتدى إلى الأمين العام مواصلة الاهتمام بالعلاقة بين الغابات والأشجار الموجودة خارج الغابات وبين الأهداف الإنمائية المتفق عليها دوليا، بما في ذلك الأهداف الإنمائية للألفية، وذلك في الاجتماعات الدولية والإقليمية ذات الصلة المعنية بالتنمية المستدامة.

(c) Improved collaboration and coordination on all types of forests and trees outside forests through more effective cooperation and better knowledge exchange among Governments, major groups, organizations, instruments and processes, including among the members of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests
