42. The open-ended inter-sessional working group of the Commission on Human Rights was established by the Commission in its resolution 1995/32 of 3 March 1995 with the sole purpose of elaborating the draft United Nations declaration on the rights of indigenous peoples.
٤٢ - وأنشئ الفريق العامل بين الدورات المفتوح باب العضوية التابع للجنة حقوق اﻹنسان، بقرار اللجنة ١٩٩٥/٣٢ المؤرخ ٣ آذار/مارس ١٩٩٥ لغاية وحيدة، هي إعداد مشروع إعلان اﻷمم المتحدة بشأن حقوق الشعوب اﻷصلية.

In resolutions 50/156 of 21 December 1995 and 53/130 of 9 December 1998, the General Assembly extended the mandate of the Voluntary Fund to assist representatives of indigenous communities and organizations to participate in the deliberations of the open-ended intersessional Working Group of the Commission on Human Rights on a draft declaration on the rights of indigenous people.
وبموجب قراري الجمعية العامة 50/156 المؤرخ 21 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1995، و 53/130 المؤرخ 9 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1998، مددت الجمعية العامة ولاية صندوق التبرعات لمساعدة ممثلي مجتمعات ومنظمات السكان الأصليين على المشاركة في مداولات الفريق العامل بين الدورات المفتوح باب العضوية التابع للجنة حقوق الإنسان في وضع مشروع إعلان بشأن حقوق السكان الأصليين.

By paragraph 4 of section III of the resolution, the Council decided that the open-ended in-sessional working group on United Nations standards and norms in crime prevention and criminal justice would discuss during the fifth session of the Commission the establishment of efficient information-gathering mechanisms on prisons conditions.
وقرر المجلس، بالفقرة ٤ من الفرع ثالثا من القرار، أن يناقش الفريق العامل بين الدورات المفتوح باب العضوية المعني بمعايير اﻷمم المتحدة وقواعدها في مجال منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية، خلال الدورة الخامسة للجنة، مسألة إنشاء آليات فعالة لجمع المعلومات تعنى بأوضاع السجون.

6. Supports the work of the open-ended inter-sessional working group of the Commission on Human Rights on a draft optional protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the involvement of children in armed conflict, and expresses the hope that it will make further progress with a view to finalizing its work;
٦ - يؤيد العمل الذي يقوم به الفريق العامل بين الدورات المفتوح باب العضوية التابع للجنة حقوق اﻹنسان بشأن وضع مشروع بروتوكول اختياري ملحق باتفاقية حقوق الطفل يتعلق باشترك اﻷطفال في الصراعات المسلحة ويعرب عن أمله في أن يحرز الفريق المزيد من التقدم لكي ينتهي من عمله؛

Supports the work of the open-ended inter-sessional working group of the Commission on Human Rights on a draft optional protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the involvement of children in armed conflict, and expresses the hope that it will make further progress with a view to finalizing its work;

This open-ended inter-sessional working group, which meets for two weeks every year, was established by the Commission in its resolution 1992/43 of 3 March 1992 and was recently extended by Commission resolution 1996/37 of 19 April 1996 and Council resolution 1996/22 of 23 July 1996;

Supports the work of the open-ended inter-sessional working group of the Commission on Human Rights on a draft optional protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child related to the involvement of children in armed conflict, and expresses the hope that it will make further progress prior to the fifty-fourth session of the Commission with a view to finalizing this work;
٨ - تؤيـد أعمال الفريق العامل بين الدورات المفتوح باب العضوية التابع للجنة حقوق اﻹنسان المعني بوضع مشروع بروتوكول اختياري لاتفاقية حقوق الطفل بشأن إشراك اﻷطفال في النزاع المسلح، وتعرب عن أملها في أن يحرز الفريق مزيدا من التقدم قبل انعقاد الدورة الرابعة والخمسين للجنة، بغية وضع هذه اﻷعمال في صيغتها النهائية؛

The Conference of the Parties established the ad hoc open-ended intersessional Working Group on Article 8 (j) and Related Provisions to address them and to develop an ambitious programme of work, which was adopted by the Conference of the Parties in 2000 and provides the basis for action on traditional knowledge within the framework of the Convention.
فأنشأ مؤتمر الأطراف الفريق العامل بين الدورات المفتوح باب العضوية المخصص للمادة 8 (ي) والأحكام المتصلة بها لتناولها ووضع برنامج عمل طموح، اعتمده مؤتمر الأطراف في عام 2000، وهو يوفّر أساسا لاتخاذ إجراءات بشأن المعارف التقليدية في إطار الاتفاقية.

The Assembly broadened the mandate of the Fund in its resolution 50/156 of 21 December 1995 by deciding that the Fund should also be used to assist representatives of indigenous communities and organizations to participate in the deliberations of the open-ended intersessional Working Group of the Commission on Human Rights on the draft United Nations declaration on the rights of indigenous peoples.
وقد وسعت الجمعية العامة من نطاق ولاية الصندوق بقرارها 50/156 المؤرخ 21 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1995 فقررت أن يستخدم المنتدى أيضا لمساعدة ممثلي مجتمعات ومنظمات الشعوب الأصلية على المشاركة في مداولات الفريق العامل بين الدورات المفتوح باب العضوية التابع للجنة حقوق الإنسان والمعني بوضع مشروع إعلان الأمم المتحدة لحقوق السكان الأصليين.

By paragraph 25 of section IV of the resolution, the Council decided that the open-ended in-sessional working group of the Commission, at its fifth session, would seek ways to develop and undertake practical activities aimed at promoting the effective use and application of United Nations standards and norms in juvenile justice, including training, research and advisory services.
كما قرر المجلس بالفقرة ٢٥ من الفرع رابعا من القرار أن يبحث الفريق العامل بين الدورات المفتوح باب العضوية التابع للجنة في دورتها الخامسة عن سبل ﻹعداد وتنفيذ أنشطة عملية تهدف إلى تعزيز الاستخدام والتطبيق الفعال لمعايير اﻷمم المتحدة وقواعدها في قضاء اﻷحداث بما في ذلك التدريب والبحوث والخدمات الاستشارية.
