The training programme was organized jointly with the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization and the National Disaster Reduction Centre of China. It was hosted by Beihang University in Beijing.

The Subcommittee noted with satisfaction the signing of the convention on the establishment of the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization by eight States in Beijing in October 2005.
38- ولاحظت اللجنة الفرعية بارتياح توقيع ثماني دول في بيجين، في تشرين الأول/ أكتوبر 2005، على اتفاقية إنشاء منظمة التعاون الفضائي لآسيا والمحيط الهادئ.

The Subcommittee also noted that the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization provided a cooperative arrangement to promote the peaceful uses of outer space in the region.
