89. The United Nations consolidated list suffers from a number of inadequacies, which require rectification in order for States to comply more effectively.

The measures include a freezing of funds and other financial and economic assets, a travel ban against the individuals on the United Nations consolidated list, and an embargo on the sale, supply or transfer of weapons and ammunition and all other related military materiel and support to those on the list.
