I conclude by expressing my delegation's support for the consensus adoption of the draft resolution on the situation in Afghanistan, which reflects the concerns of the international community and offers the greatest possible support to the efforts of the United Nations and Afghanistan to promote peace in that country.
وأختتم كلامي بالإعراب عن تأييد وفد بلادي لاعتماد مشروع القرار عن الحالة في أفغانستان بتوافق الآراء، الأمر الذي يظهر شواغل المجتمع الدولي ويقدم أكبر دعم ممكن لجهود الأمم المتحدة وأفغانستان في سبيل تعزيز السلام في ذلك البلد.

I have the honour to enclose herewith the text of a resolution on the situation in Cyprus adopted by the Twenty-third Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers, held at Conakry, Guinea from 9 to 12 December 1995.
يشرفني أن أرفق طيا نص القرار عن الحالة في قبرص الذي اعتمده الاجتماع الثالث والعشرون لوزراء خارجية المؤتمر الاسلامي الذي عقد في كوناكري، جمهورية غينيا، في الفترة من ٩ الى ١٢ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٥.

As in previous years, Iceland is a sponsor of the draft resolution on the situation in Afghanistan and its implications for international peace and security and on emergency international assistance for peace, normalcy and reconstruction of war-stricken Afghanistan.
وكما كان الحال في الأعوام الماضية، شاركت أيسلندا في تقديم مشروع القرار عن الحالة في أفغانستان وآثاره في السلام والأمن الدوليين وتقديم المساعدة الدولية الطارئة من أجل إحلال السلام والأوضاع الطبيعية في أفغانستان المنكوبة بالحرب وتعميرها.

1. The present report is submitted pursuant to Security Council resolution 1225 (1999) of 28 January 1999, by which the Security Council decided to extend the mandate of the United Nations Observer Mission in Georgia (UNOMIG) until 31 July 1999 and requested me to continue to keep it regularly informed and to report after three months from the date of the adoption of the resolution on the situation in Abkhazia, Georgia.
١ - هذا التقرير مقدم عملا بقرار مجلس اﻷمن ١٢٢٥ )١٩٩٩( المؤرخ ٢٨ كانون الثاني/يناير ١٩٩٩ الذي قرر فيه المجلس تمديد ولاية بعثة مراقبي اﻷمم المتحدة في جورجيا حتى ٣١ تموز/يوليه ١٩٩٩ وطلب مني أن أواصل إبقاءه على علم بصورة منتظمة بالحالة، وأن أقدم تقريرا بعد ثلاثة أشهر من تاريخ اعتماد القرار عن الحالة في أبخازيا بجورجيا.
