Review of potential significant deficiencies
سادساً- استعراض أوجه القصور المهمة المحتملة

Following the Board's decision to initiate a review and approval of the scope of review of significant deficiencies in previous validation, verification or certification reports, the secretariat shall do the following:
25- عقب قرار المجلس بالبدء في إجراء استعراض لأوجه القصور المهمة في التقارير السابقة المتعلقة بالتصديق أو التحقق أو الاعتماد، وبعد الموافقة على نطاق هذا الاستعراض، تقوم الأمانة بما يلي:

A fee paid in accordance with paragraph 14 shall be refunded if the Board decides to initiate a review of significant deficiencies.
46- ويُسترد الرسم المدفوع وفقاً للمادة 14 إذا قرر المجلس البدء في استعراض أوجه القصور المهمة.

(b) The liability of designated operational entities to compensate for the issuance of certified emission reductions resulting from significant deficiencies in validation, verification and certification reports;

25. Requests the Executive Board to adopt, taking into consideration the views of stakeholders, and subsequently apply a procedure to address significant deficiencies in validation or verification reports;

24. Notes that Parties may wish to address the issue of significant deficiencies in validation, verification and certification reports as part of the review of the modalities and procedures referred to in paragraph 9 above;

Welcomes the work undertaken by the Executive Board to address liability in the context of the draft procedure on significant deficiencies in validation, verification and certification reports;
12- يرحب بالعمل الذي أنجزه المجلس التنفيذي في سبيل معالجة موضوع المسؤولية في سياق مشروع الإجراء المتعلق بأوجه القصور المهمة في تقارير التصديق والتحقق والاعتماد؛

Requests the secretariat and the Executive Board to further investigate the impact of potential approaches to address significant deficiencies in validation, verification and certification reports and to prepare a report on its findings;

It describes a draft procedure for assessing and attributing liability for significant deficiencies in validation, verification or certification reports that are caused by the professional negligence or fraud of a designated operational entity (DOE) and provides a process for correcting those significant deficiencies.
