The Secretary-General has submitted to the General Assembly two reports providing background information on those three sub-themes, entitled " Community-based forest management " (E/CN.18/2011/4) and " Forests for people: cultural and social values of forests and social development " (E/CN.18/2011/5).
وقدم الأمين العام إلى الجمعية العامة تقريرين يتضمنان معلومات أساسية عن تلك المحاور الفرعية الثلاثة، تحت عنوانين هما: " إدارة المجتمع المحلي للغابات " (E/CN.18/2011/4)، وتسخير الغابات لمصلحة الناس: " القيم الثقافية والاجتماعية للغابات والتنمية الاجتماعية " (E/CN.18/2011/5).

The Committee notes with concern that women continue to be under-represented in public and political life, and that structural and attitudinal reasons, including limiting cultural and social values, difficulties in reconciling family life, paid employment and political tasks, have been identified among the reasons for this low representation.
