ولذلك منعت اللائحة المدرسية لمدارس الأساس لسنة 1992 عقوبة الجلد بوجه عام، وإباحته عند الضرورة القصوى، وحددته بأربع جلدات غير مبرحات، وقصرته على الذكور واشترطت لتوقيعه أن يتم بمعزل عن باقي التلاميذ وبعد عرض الأمر على مدير المدرسة، وتقدير ظروف التلميذ الصحية.

74. School Regulations underscore the importance of school activities such as literary and cultural societies and sport, all of which provide the child with a platform for expressing his views. A student activities administration is in charge of the overall supervision of school activities.
75- أكدت اللائحة المدرسية على أهمية النشاط المدرسي من جمعيات أدبية وثقافية ورياضية والتي تشكل منبراً هاماً للطفل للتعبير عن آرائه، وتوجد إدارة للنشاط الطلابي للإشراف العام على الأنشطة المدرسية.

83. The national Constitution, the Southern Sudan Constitution, northern and southern states Constitutions, and the 1991 Criminal Code guarantee the right against torture. School Regulations abolished corporal punishment in schools.
84- كفل الدستور القومي ودستور جنوب السودان ودساتير الولايات الشمالية والجنوبية والقانون الجنائي لسنة 1991 الحق في عدم التعرض للتعذيب، وقامت اللائحة المدرسية بإلغاء العقاب البدني في المدارس.

110. Article 15, paragraph (l), of the School Regulations of 1993 (annexed hereto) provides that a teacher has a duty to refrain from disciplining pupils by means of verbal insult, which is distasteful and undignified, and from reprimanding pupils in anger.
110- وجاء في اللائحة المدرسية لسنة 1993 (مرفق) في المادة 15(ل) أن من واجبات المعلم عدم اللجوء لتأنيب التلاميذ بكلام مهين تأباه التربية والكرامة الشخصية وألا يعاتبهم وهو غاضب.

286. Under the School Regulations, the morning parade and the school radio broadcast are regarded as major activities, as they provide the full opportunity for pupils to express their views and develop their abilities and talents (art. 12).

80. School Regulations guarantee children the right to form literary, cultural and sport associations. One of the most important achievements in this area is the children's parliament. Work has started to select groups of children from nine schools in the states of Khartoum and Al-Jazeera to become the nucleus of a children's parliament.
81- تكفل اللائحة المدرسية للأطفال الحق في تكوين الجمعيات الأدبية والثقافية والرياضية، ومن أهم الانجازات في هذا المجال قيام مشروع برلمان الأطفال، حيث بدأ العمل على اختيار مجموعات من الأطفال لتكون نواة لبرلمان الأطفال في 9 مدارس بولايتي الخرطوم والجزيرة.

95. The School Regulations (annexed hereto) also state that main school activities should include morning parades, school broadcasts, the production of newspapers for posting on walls, activities run by artistic, literary and scientific societies and drama activities, all of which provide children with full opportunities to express their views and develop their abilities and talents.
95- كذلك جاء في اللائحة المدرسية (مرفق) أن يكون طابور الصباح والإذاعة المدرسية والصحف الحائطية والجمعيات الفنية والأدبية والعلمية والمسرح من الأنشطة الرئيسية حيث تتاح الفرصة الكاملة للطفل للتعبير عن آرائه وتطوير قدراته وملكاته.

82. (i) Awareness-raising campaigns on the prohibition of corporal punishment against children are regularly targeted at families, children's institutions and prisons; (ii) in schools, the current School Regulations prohibit corporal punishment against pupils; (iii) the 2009 revised Criminal Code pays particular attention to the protection of children (arts. 221, 206, 512 to 525, 535 to 537).
82- `1` تُنظم بشكل منتظم حملات لتوعية الأسر ومؤسسات الأطفال والمؤسسات الإصلاحية بمسألة حظر العقوبة البدنية للأطفال؛ `2` على مستوى المدارس، تمنع اللائحة المدرسية السارية العقوبة البدنية للتلاميذ والطلاب؛ `3` يحرص قانون العقوبات المنقح لعام 2009 على حماية الطفل (المواد 221 و206 ومن 512 إلى 525 ومن 535 إلى 537).
